Our Family Story

Andy’s Market was founded by DeLaine and Walter Anderson in 1968, in College Place, Washington.  The Anderson family’s desire to provide their community with healthy food options was the spark that started doing business in the Walla Walla Valley.  Our community is known for its rich agriculture traditions that include hard work, neighborly connections, and a deep respect for the land our food comes from.   Any farmer will tell you, a plant is only as good as its roots.  Andy’s Market is family owned and operated with our roots growing three generations deep. We are from here, we live here, and our commitment to improving the lives of those around us is just as strong today as it was 50 years ago.

What People Are Saying…

“Small store but full of good products. Bulk foods are available, freshly baked bread with the wonderful smell throughout the store makes each shopping experience fantastic.”

Benny Dean

Great family owned grocery store. Good selection of local seasonal produce. Also carries a good selection of gems such as coffee from walla walla roastery, baked goods from local bakeries etc. I hope Andies continues to thrive for generations to come. I have been going here for 20+ yrs now and love this place. 🙂

Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple, to meet people where they are on their health and wellness journey and provide them with the best possible food options at the very best price.  We work closely with local vendors and farmers to not only bring you the freshest, best quality food, but also to support our local economy.  We believe our customers are the heart of our business, with service and respect being just as important as a great sale price.

Community Involvement/Giving Back

Our goal at Andy’s is to help our community grow and thrive.  At Andy’s Market giving back to our community is our way of saying “thank you” for all our community does to support us.
