Our Family Story
Walter and DeLaine Anderson founded Andy's Market in 1968 with a singular purpose, to provide the best quality products at the best prices in the Walla Walla valley.
Mr. and Mrs. "A," as they were affectionately called, built a business that became known literally around the globe. Daughters Lynette Gordon and Connie Burke continue to guide Andy's Market along with a little help from the third and fourth generations.
Andy's Market has been blessed. Mr. A was known to have repeatedly said that he was "jealous for God's blessing." He wanted to honor God in all ways by keeping His 7th day Sabbath holy, giving back to God what was His and treating customers right. Over and over he said, "the customer is always right."
Our mission today in 2026 remains the same: Honor God, be honest and fair, provide healthy products at the lowest prices. Andy's cares about its community, its customers and its employees.

Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple, to meet people where they are on their health and wellness journey and provide them with the best possible food options at the very best price. We work closely with local vendors and farmers to not only bring you the freshest, best quality food, but also to support our local economy. We believe our customers are the heart of our business, with service and respect being just as important as a great sale price.
Community Involvement
Our goal at Andy’s is to help our community grow and thrive. At Andy’s Market giving back to our community is our way of saying “thank you” for all our community does to support us.
